As a Workday Advanced Compensation Consultant, you will Focus on the compensation functional area to: uncover and establish business needs, translate them into technical requirements and develop new solutions to increase adoption of technology platforms inclusive of Workday and Pave. You will build deep partnerships with cross functional partners, advocate for new ways technology can improve our compensation programs and be empowered to innovate the future the Technology strategy.
- Provide architectural consultation across Workday modules and integrated solutions, including Workday HCM Core, Compensation and Advanced Compensation Workstreams.
- Will need to be able to provide recommendations and best practices for global compensation and advanced compensation functionality (merit, bonus, and stocks).
- Define internal best practices for system architecture, design, and build across the " compensation planning " ecosystem and integrated enterprise business systems
- Lead design, configuration, migration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM/Compensation and Advanced Compensation related work items while remaining flexible to clients' changing needs.
- Support all stages of the software development life cycle including but not limited to; system integration, configuration, data conversion, functional specifications, program, and system quality testing, go-live and post go-live implementation support
- Support development of a compensation technology roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders and our IT engineering, data, and security teams
- Ensure that the system meets the defined expectations of the business.
- Drive consensus with business and technical teams to determine the best solution to business problems, output needs and the delivery of new technology solutions and enhancements.
Requirements
- You are an expert in Workday Advance Compensation
- At least 5-7 years of hands-on Workday experience with 5+ years of recent experience around implementing and supporting HCM, Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation functional areas.
- HCM, Comp and Advanced Compensation active certification (within last 2 years) is preferred to allow candidate to be added to Workday customer scorecard for project work.
- Ability to lead medium to large projects for the full project lifecycle in areas(s) of expertise- from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, and go live
